Classical Realism
Drawing on techniques of classical realism, I weave together elements of the material world to create still-life compositions that are anything but still. Like a miniature stage set, ordinary objects become characters—alive with tension, humor, and curiosity—forming thought-provoking scenes.
For me, still life is more than a genre; it’s a gateway into other worlds of art, culture, nature, and imagination. Each piece gathers images that can evoke comedy, absurdity, or tragedy, reflecting how I process our beautiful, complicated world in a unique and meaningful way. This practice has opened endless possibilities for me.
